The Romy industry awards (formerly Academy Awards) annually honour filmmakers behind the camera for their outstanding achievements. The Romy Academy, consisting of the approximately 500 Romy winners, votes until 7 June. The audience has already voted - who will receive one of the coveted Romy audience prizes this year can be seen on Saturday, 15 May 2021, at 8.15 p.m. on ORF 2 in the programme Romy 2021 – Der Österreichische Film- und Fernsehpreis

The ROMY industry awards will be presented at the industry festival on July 2 at the Hofburg Palace in Vienna.

Since the world premiere at CinéDoc Tbilisi on September 4th 2020, the film received the “Audience Award” at Free Zone Film Festival and an “Honorable Mention” at Doqumenta 2020 in Mexico as well as at SEEfest 2021 in the US.
