Fall is here, and there's a lot to celebrate! We've already popped the corks and let the champagne flow. Not only because berg hammer film celebrates its 3rd birthday. We also celebrate the launch of our web shop and, above all, the TV premiere of our documentary film about the body fluids breast milk, blood and semen.
NATURAL JUICES - Bodily Fluids sold as Goods flows on sunday 21.11.2021 at 11:11 p.m. on ORF 2 across the screens for the first time and will then be available on the TVthek for seven days.
There is no artificial substitute for breast milk, blood and sperm. The three substances can only be obtained from human bodies. They are collected and processed in banks and ultimately end up in other bodies. Karin Berghammer's documentary NATURAL JUICES explores the question of who donates the valuable secretions and who receives them at what price?
Der Bogen reicht vom heute 17-jährigen Frühgeborenen, für dessen Überleben die Muttermilch essenziell war, über eine Patientin, für deren Medikament jährlich mindestens 600 Menschen Plasma spenden müssen, bis hin zu einer Kinderwunschpatientin von 1980, die mit ihrer Tochter gemeinsam den Verdacht hegt, dass jemand anderer als gedacht den Samen “gespendet” und daran verdient hat.
