KARIN BERGHAMMER

From 2005 to 2018 Karin Berghammer worked on national and international feature film, TV film and documentary projects as a producer, head of development and production manager for Amour Fou Vienna, Navigatorfilm, COOP99 and KGP.
In 2018 she founded her production company berg hammer film GmbH. Karin holds a Master's degree in TV and Film Production from the Danube University Krems (2005) and was trained at the University of Film and Television in Los Angeles (UCLA) and the Kaskeline Filmacademy in Berlin (1989-1993). Karin is a former midwife with an international patent and launch of an innovative birthing bed.
From 2009-2020 she participated in various European script development and production programmes including EURODOC, EAVE, MIDPOINT COLD OPEN and SOURCES II. Karin is a board member of 'FC Gloria. Frauen Vernetzung Film' and a founding member of 'Die ProduzentInnen'.
BARBARA EPPENSTEINER

Barbara Eppensteiner was involved in various participatory cultural and media projects from the mid-1980s on. After managing the wienXtra-medienzentrum, which she did from 1997 to 2005, she helped establish the Viennese community TV station Okto. As program director until 2019 she was responsible for formats such as the weekly film program "Oktoskop", for "Das Medienquartett" or mini-series such as "Unter Druck - Zur Mediensituation im CEE Raum". In addition to studying media communication and cultural studies in Klagenfurt, Vienna, London and Berlin, she has completed various in-service training courses on topics such as media and theatre work in socio-cultural contexts or systematic organizational development. Since 2009 she has been teaching in the Interaction Design program at FH Joanneum in Graz. Since 2017 she has been writing regularly as a columnist for the newspaper "kupf".
FRANZISKA ARINGER

After a year abroad in Tel Aviv, Franzi studied Cultural & Social Anthropology and Philosophy at the University of Vienna. After graduating, she went on to study Journalism with a focus on Visual Communication & Journalism.
She gained extensive experience in the development, research and design of documentary formats while working as an editorial assistant in the production of documentary films.
Since 2020, she has been responsible for finance and general office management at berg hammer film, as well as overseeing all projects as production coordinator, assistant editor and post-production supervisor.
ZORAH BERGHAMMER
Assistant Director
Zorah studies screenwriting and directing at the Vienna Film Academy and the Babelsberg Film University. Since 2016 she has been working as a script/continuity, assistant director and caster in Austria and abroad, including for the Netflix series Unorthodox (directed by Maria Schrader). Most recently she worked as assistant director on the set of 'Club Zero' by Jessica Hausner and as caster for Lisa Weber (Ulrich Seidl Filmproduktion).
She also realises video works and short films, including ‘Die Sänger’, which screened at the Diagonale and the Vienna Shorts Film Festival in 2024 and won the prize for best Austrian short film at the Kitzbühel Film Festival.
