The mockumentary "DIAMANTE FUSSBALLGOTT" (co-directed by Karin Berghammer) celebrated its television premiere on ARD on May 10, 2026!
Produced by Corso Film (Cologne) and Amour Fou Vienna, the film features appearances by stars such as Herbert Prohaska, Toni Polster and Reiner Calmund alongside Andrea Steiner and Claudia Neumann telling the story of footballer Rudi Varda.
His brother sets out on a quest to find the exceptionally talented player, who went into hiding in the 1980s, traveling from the German countryside
through Vienna all the way to Rio de Janeiro.
